Flash animation & interaction

External Design has produced multimedia Flash animations, including timeline-based and algorithmic animation, user-interface designs, and streaming video and audio productions. We created an Actionscript 3 Rich Internet Application (RIA) that combines high bandwidth with high interactivity in a high-performance context.

We still do not recommend Flash-only web sites to most clients, especially to those whose online marketing relies on search engine rankings. But Flash animation can be used with good judgment and integrated with HTML content. And standalone Adobe Air apps, or the standalone Flash Player on the end-user's desktop, can perform nicely as cross-platform applications that do not need a web browser or even a persistent internet connection.
