Children’s Privacy Protection
The intended audience of this web site is composed of users 18 years of age and older. The External Design site does not target and is not intended for children under the age of 13. External Design abides by the Children’s Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) requirements and External Design does not knowingly collect personal information from children under age 13.
How We Collect Personal Information
External Design collects information from its web site that could be used to identify you (“Personal Information”) only when you contact us for information. Such specific information is only collected via online forms you submit and direct communications. Any other information we collect, including but not limited to browser version and operating system, does not include details that identify you and are only used for statistical analysis.
Note also that, especially on any of this site’s pages that serve advertising content not generated by External Design, third parties may place and read cookies on your browsers, or use web beacons to collect information as a result of ad serving on the web site.
Disclosure of Personal Information
Except as set out in this section, External Design will not disclose your Personal Information to other companies or to its strategic partners without your explicit informed consent.
External Design cannot guarantee the compliance of third parties, if any, with such restrictions. External Design will otherwise only release your Personal Information to third parties in the following limited circumstances: (i) if legally required to do so under a law, regulation, search warrant, subpoena or court order; (ii) if the rights or property of External Design, its affiliates, their service providers or the users of the web site are at risk; and (iii) if the personal safety of users of the web site or other members of the public are at risk.
External Design may also use your Personal Information to generate information about you that does not allow you to be identified or contacted (“Aggregated Information”). Aggregated Information shows user activity as a whole rather than on an individual basis. For example, External Design might inform third parties about the number of users of the web site and the activities conducted by users while on the web site.
As we continue to develop our business, we might sell or buy the assets of similar organizations. In such transactions, user information generally is one of the transferred business assets. Also, in the event that External Design or substantially all of its assets are acquired, customer information will of course be one of those transferred assets.
